We are seeking a driven Inside Sales / Business Development Lead Specialist to support our sales team and fuel new business growth.

Position Overview

The Inside Sales / Business Development Lead Specialist is responsible for generating, qualifying, and nurturing sales leads to support the outside sales team. This role focuses on outbound prospecting, inbound lead follow-up, appointment setting, and early-stage relationship building to drive a strong and consistent sales pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and qualify new business leads through outbound calls, emails, and digital outreach.
  • Respond to inbound inquiries and marketing-generated leads in a timely manner.
  • Schedule qualified appointments and product introductions for Outside Sales Representatives.
  • Conduct initial discovery conversations to identify client needs and opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate lead and activity tracking in the CRM system.
  • Collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams to align outreach strategies.
  • Meet or exceed daily activity, appointment-setting, and pipeline contribution goals.
  • Support sales campaigns, promotions, and targeted outreach initiatives.
  • Follow established messaging and sales qualification frameworks.
  • Continuously improve scripts, talk tracks, and outreach performance.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of inside sales, lead generation, or business development experience.
  • Strong phone presence and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable with outbound prospecting and objection handling.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented.
  • Experience using CRM systems and sales engagement tools preferred.
  • Background in B2B sales or technology solutions a plus.
